NATIONAL ELK REFUGE

Wildlife conservation is at the heart of what makes the National Elk Refuge unique and unparalleled in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Conservation of native species and their habitats is the core management mission of the Refuge.

The Refuge protects a critically important winter range for numerous iconic species, including elk, bison, wolves, trumpeter swans, bald eagles, bighorn sheep, and cutthroat trout. The landscape of the Refuge is primarily glacial outwash plain and rolling hills with a narrow, winding creek. The Refuge is surrounded by the rugged peaks of the Teton and Gros Ventre Mountain Ranges.

GRAND TETON ASSOCIATION

The Grand Teton Association (GTA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the educational, interpretive, and research missions of the Grand Teton National Park, the National Elk Refuge, and other federal land management agencies in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Established in 1937, the GTA works closely with these agencies to enhance public understanding and appreciation of the region’s natural, historical, and cultural significance.

THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF JACKSON HOLE

The CFJH has been inspir­ing donors, invest­ing in non­prof­its, and enrich­ing the Teton County com­mu­ni­ty for over 36 years. The Foun­da­tion man­ages more than $180 mil­lion in assets, and the annu­al col­lab­o­ra­tive event, Old Bill’s Fun Run, has raised over $306 mil­lion for local non­prof­its. Since incep­tion, donors have relied on the Foundation’s expe­ri­enced staff to assist with cur­rent and planned giv­ing by sim­pli­fy­ing admin­is­tra­tion and pro­vid­ing insight about com­mu­ni­ty needs.
